
Amanulla Vadakkangara was born in Vadakkangara, a village in Malappuram district of Kerala, India. He obtained Alimiyya degree from Ilahiya College Thirurkad. He also completed a Masters Degree in Arabic language and literature from Calicut University and Master Degree in library and information science from Annamalai University in Tamil Nadu, India
He was inclined towards writing since his school days and published articles in dailies in Kerala. He taught Arabic and Islamic studies at Perumpilavu Ansar English School for about five years. Then he took up the assignment as a teacher of Arabic and Isalmic studies at Ideal Indian School, Doha. Based on his outstanding performance and qualifications he was promoted as the head of department of the Arabic and Islamic Studies of the school. He continued in the post till he resigned in early 2006. He was also promoted as the Public Relation Officer of the school considering his potentials as a team leader.
In Doha he has been a regular writer and columnist in Arabic and English dailies. He was awarded Lokseva award by the government of India for his work on Alcoholism in 1995. In 2005 he won the Anti Narcotic Award from the Kerala Government.
